Let’s play & learn some things!

Scientists have recently determined that it takes approximately 400 repetitions to create a new synapse in the brain – unless it is done with play, in which case it takes between 10 and 20 repetitians.

Fun learning is faster

So to learn something new to ourselves, like creating a new habit or getting rid of disturbing behaviour or limiting habits, we have to practice it 400 times. That’s a lot!

Although ... many of us do crazy behaviour for years (thousands of times), like repeating painful stories, watching scary movies and fulltime negative selftalk. And by doing it so often we become experts in living a terrified life. Of course!

But if we PLAY … every cell in your body including all of your brain is so relaxed and our mind-body-spirit opens up and so we pick up new stuff so much faster.

Let’s take (& make) it easy

We learn easier when it’s fun and I love to teach in a playful way. The main reason for that is that I’m (like) a child and love to play, so I can’t really do it better in any other way. No, I don’t like playing games like poker, backgammon, monopoly or cards. That’s for adults. I love to PLAY, to move, to jump in the sea, to joke, to invent, to discover, et cetera.

And the older I get the more I allow myself to do so. For many years I’ve tried to act like an adult, but it’s not the best I can. And since I care less about what other people think of me, it’s getting easier and I’m getting more in the direction of how I want to be, to live and to teach.

Retreat & workshop

We will be one week together in the most beautiful Pilion area in Greece. We will enjoy good food, sun, sea and the beach every day. We will do some yoga in the morning and hangout somewhere in the evening. We will walk, talk, lay, play, relax, move and (meanwhile) learn some things to make our lives easier.

  • Bio Energetica bodywork
  • Deep breathing meditation
  • Tapping on meridianpoints
  • Sharing ancient knowledge
